South Norfolk Youth Action Community Radio Station

South Norfolk Council (SNC) wants young people’s views on the growth expected to take place over the next ten years in Wymondham. It could be quite important to have your say now as you are the people who will have to live with the decisions made today.

Between Monday 23 January and Friday 16 March the Council is consulting on the first stage of an Area Action Plan for Wymondham.

Wymondham will grow between now and 2026. The town will have at least 2,200 new houses, about 20 hectares of employment land, town centre improvements as well as better services and facilities. This growth means huge new opportunities for the town and SNC want to work with you to develop a vision of what Wymondham should look like in the future.

SNC will then use your comments to prepare an Area Action Plan for Wymondham. For those of you that are interested enough to really get involved then South Norfolk Council are holding exhibitions during office hours at

Wymondham Town Council Offices, Middleton Street: Monday 23^rd January to Friday 16^th March. SNC representatives will be available to answer any queries, questions or concerns on Friday 10^th February 9.30am-1.30pm

Wymondham Leisure Centre, Norwich Road: Monday 13^th February – Friday 17^th February. SNC representatives will be available to answer any queries, questions or concerns on Wednesday 15^th February 1pm-5pm.

Wymondham Library – Back Lane: Monday 20^th February – Friday 24^th February. SNC representatives will be available to answer any queries, questions or concerns on Thursday 23^rd February 3pm-7pm.
