About
SNYA Radio started life as an idea for a youth internet radio station back in November 2008. Josh Worley and Steve Thomas completed many applications to various charities and funding organisations before starting to look for a team of broadcasters and presenters. Will Litchfield joined the team and with the help of Rebecca Thomas we attended many photo shoots and prepared for the big launch. Josh Worley played out our first track ‘Nothings gonna stop use now’ by Queen on 18th November 2009 before handing over the reins to Matthew Dowse and Bradley Biddlecombe for our first live radio show.
Since then SNYA Radio has directly worked with hundreds of young people from across Norfolk and utilised our outside broadcast unit to visit many more
.
The radio station has gone from strength to strength and now broadcasts from three studios located at the Woodshack Rehearsal Studios in Wymondham, Long Stratton Leisure Centre, south Norfolk and EPIC TV Studios in Norwich.
